Well House

This structure houses the source of water historically used in the manor house. Water was pumped from an underground source into a storage trough inside the building. This source was probably the same underground spring that feeds the pond.
In the future, this building will be developed into a laundry exhibit. It will showcase methods of laundry, which have evolved over time. Tools used for laundry have included open fires and iron kettles; dry sinks and wooden wringers; and tubs and rubber wringers.
